George Apap is a Maltese artist with a lifelong dedication to painting and drawing, developed over several decades of continuous practice.
Born in Gozo and based in Malta, his work has been exhibited locally and appreciated by private collectors both in Malta and abroad.
His artistic journey is deeply rooted in observation, discipline, and a close relationship with the landscapes and streetscapes of the Maltese Islands.
Working primarily in watercolour and oil, his paintings are characterised by sensitivity to atmosphere, balance, and composition.
His approach is calm and reflective, seeking to capture mood and place rather than spectacle.
George Apap undertakes commissioned artworks, including landscapes, streetscapes, and selected private pieces.
Original works are available for purchase, and commissions are discussed on an individual basis to ensure a thoughtful and personal outcome.
